Wrap the Vinyl on the Inside

Cut out the center of the vinyl

Start by cutting out a square.

Making the cuts in the vinyl

I cut these slits in the vinyl so I could wrap it around the curve. I cut them to within 3 inches of the foam or 4 inches of the inside of the wooden arch.

Bottom of finished Rail

Staple and pull like crazy. You’ll need a partner to help you out with this part.

Copious amounts of staples.

All that’s left is to put it in place. I didn’t fasten mine on with anything. It’s completely removable.
